Team
This information has been compiled by the URJC team led by Professor Ana Vico Belmonte to facilitate access to the documentation requirements for export and import and to enhance understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks of import processes, customs transit and protection levels.
Project
Cultural heritage in conflict areas (DECOPE)

This work, carried out by a team from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos led by Professor Ana Vico, has been funded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación under reference PCI2023-143383 MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union within the research project “Destructive Exploitation and Care of Cultural Objects and Professional/Public Education for Sustainable Heritage Management” (DECOPE), funded with €674,000 by the European Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage and Global Change (JPI CH).
It is coordinated by the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (NIKU), Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and the University of Stirling. Its main objective is to advance knowledge and understanding of mobilisation for the care of cultural heritage in contexts of conflict and its aftermath.
